BEXIMCO Group

One of Bangladesh's top corporate organisations, Beximco, was the target of a cyberattack by a group of hackers going by the moniker of ALTDOS.

Across 34 Beximco websites, including its telecom subsidy, ALTDOS has stolen hundreds of terabytes of material, source code, and databases.

56,000 payment records are among the stolen data. There was nothing there, though, that would be troublesome.

There is no proof that the hackers were able to gain any company intellectual property, trade secrets, or private communications from any of the conglomerate's divisions.
