Betenbough Homes was hit by a ransomware attack it discovered that the criminals had been able to obtain some sensitive personal information of individuals from its system.
Betenbough does not mention how much ransom REvil demanded or whether they were considering paying any ransom, but REvil was known to demand high amounts.
They have consulted with cybersecurity experts who monitored this attack closely.
