Baton Rouge General suffered a data breach after an unauthorized party gained access to sensitive patient data contained on Baton Rouge General’s computer network.
The breach compromised Names, Addresses, Social security numbers, and Dates (more specific than just a year) related to an individual, such as a patient’s birthdatse, admission dates, etc., email address, contact information, medical records, health plan beneficiary numbers; and other information.
The company investigated the incident and notified the impacted individuals.
