Baruch College expanded remote learning after disclosing that a malware attack was to blame for campus-wide network outages.

The nature of the malware attack against Baruch's network was not made clear.

Some of Baruch's network, including the website and email, have been restored by Baruch Computing and Technology Centre and other departments.

No information was provided regarding whether or when any additional services were operational again.
