A hacking attack has been launched against a BARMER service provider. There are now investigations being conducted to see if Barmer's data was also accessed during this assault.
The provider of the service filled the associated security hole. The checkout service provider was the only target of the attack.
No connection to the Barmer IT environment ever existed. The incident has been reported to the appropriate authorities as a precaution.
