Bank of Brasilia, a government-controlled bank in Brazil was targeted in a ransomware attack in October 2022.

The hacker group behind the attack goes by the name “Crydat” contacted them and demanded payment of 5.2 million Brazilian reais or 50 BTC in exchange for not releasing customer data.
