BankCard USA Merchant Services Inc.

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that BankCard USA experienced an external system breach affecting 10,312 individuals, with 32 of those being Maine residents. The breach occurred between May 31, 2023, and June 1, 2023, and BankCard USA confirmed unauthorized access to sensitive information, including names, Social Security numbers, and financial account information. Written notification was provided to affected residents on August 16, 2023.
