The Banco Estado acknowledged in a press release that it discovered harmful spyware in its operating systems.
The entity's cybersecurity teams identified a problem and have already found a solution.
The bank warned that several of its platforms might exhibit some sort of disturbance, but customer-facing systems (ATMs, CajaVecina, the people's website, and the App) have not been impacted and are operating normally.
Although a number of users have reported issues with Banco Estado's online platforms, the company has urged customers to keep using them for banking tasks.
