On July 4, 2017, Avanti learned that some Avanti Markets had been the target of a sophisticated malware assault.
The company admits to having experienced a breach of its internal networks, which allowed hackers to spread malicious software to those payment devices.
Avanti said that the hack might have compromised biometric and credit card information from customers.
