Atlanta Perinatal Associates suffered a data breach after it was attacked by a hacker organization, the Vice Society.
The hackers uploaded a copy of all the data they obtained from the APA on its leak site including patients’ names, dates of birth, ID numbers, expected due dates of delivery, referring physician names, sonographer names, and the ultrasound results.
APA notified all the affected individuals about the breach.
