Associated Endocrinologists, a prominent Southeast Michigan-based endocrinology practice with locations in Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, and Novi, disclosed a data breach on July 29, 2026, following a ransomware attack. The hacking group RansomHouse claimed responsibility, announcing the breach on the dark web on February 6, 2026, and publishing stolen data on the Tor network.
While the full extent of the compromised information remains undisclosed, the breach exposed sensitive patient data, potentially including medical records, health insurance details, diagnoses, treatment information, and prescription data. A total of 4,979 individuals in the U.S. were affected.
