Asian Art Museum

Asian Art Museum in San Francisco was targeted in a ransomware attack in May 2019.

The hackers disabled part or all of the Asian Art Museum's computer system and demanded a ransom amount of approximately 65 bitcoins in cryptocurrency.

However, it is not cleared if the museum paid the ransom or not but it soon restored all of its systems.
