Austin Peay State University suffered a ransomware attack after which it advised students, staff, and faculty to disconnect their computers and devices from the university network immediately as a precaution.

APSU soon contained the attack and restored its D2L, the university's Learning Management System (LMS) at elearn.apsu.edu.

The university soon notified the staff and the students about the attack and how it was contained immediatly.
