Apex Laboratory, Inc.

Apex Laboratory suffered a ransomware attack in December 2020 in which the data from the laboratory was stolen.

The attackers leaked 1000 files from the stolen data including health information of patients (PHI) and personally identifiable information of employees (PII).

It is not sure whether the lab paid the demanded ransom or the attack was negotiated but the leaked data was removed from the site.
