The following was posted on the Angling Direct Twitter feed: "Our website has been purchased by MindGeek, the company behind Pornhub.
Your information has already been uploaded, and your account will have access to PornHub premium for a whole year.
The firm's social media accounts were compromised.
They informed the Information Commissioner to investigate this incident and took preventive steps to secure it.
