What Happened?
In October 2025, Anderson Bancshares Inc. learned that a third-party vendor, Marquis Software Solutions, experienced a data breach. An unauthorized third party gained access to personal information on Marquis systems as early as Aug. 14, 2025. Marquis notified Anderson Bancshares Inc. of the incident on Oct. 28, 2025.
The investigation revealed that the breach did not involve Anderson Brothers Bank’s internal systems but did impact customer information stored with the vendor. Written notice was sent to affected individuals on Dec. 5, 2025.
