Amerita

The California Office of the Attorney General reported that Amerita experienced a data breach on March 12-13, 2023, involving unauthorized access to its computer network. Approximately 8,238 Rhode Island residents were affected, with compromised data including names, addresses, medical history, diagnoses, medications, and health insurance information. Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers were not involved in the incident. The report was made on September 5, 2023.
