Amerigroup Insurance Company suffered a data breach incident that compromised certain consumer information including information of 1,189 people in Texas alone.
The breach compromised names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and health insurance information belonging to certain individuals.
Amerigroup sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the incident and asked them to be more vigilant in monitoring their credit reports and financial account.
