Akron Children's Hospital

A hard drive of backup transport voice recordings containing 7,664 patient families of Akron Children's Hospital went missing.

The drive contained the names, ages, genders, birth dates, medical record numbers, locations, transfer times, physician names, and chief medical complaints of the patients.

The hospital notified the affected patients to be alerted of suspicious activities.
