AHMC HealthCare

AHMC HealthCare suffered a data breach incident after two password-protected laptops with their data were stole.

The breach affected 729,000 patients’ data, Social Security numbers, patient names, insurance identification numbers, diagnosis/procedure codes, and insurance/patient payments.

The laptops were guarded and gated by a security team with video surveillance and AHMC contacted an auditing firm to perform a security risk assessment.
