The chipmaker firm Advantech was targeted in a cyberattack by the Conti ransomware gang.

The attackers hit the company's network and stole confidential company documents.

A huge amount of 750 BTC as ransom was asked by the gang to decrypt the affected systems and for removing stolen data from their servers.
